This indicator will measure overall population trends for estuarine bird species to help us understand whether estuaries are functioning to support the species which depend on them.

This is a new indicator and we are working with our partners to compile and report data.

The Framework is a collaboration of the Stillaguamish Tribe, Audubon Washington, Ecostudies Institute, and Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. The Framework is part of a multi-year effort to address shared information needs and support avian management and conservation in the region.
